2018 State of the Community Dinner

6:00 p.m.
The 2018 State of the Community dinner is November 1 at 6:00 p.m. at Nixa Junior High. Come hear updates from the local leaders and representatives from the City of Nixa, Nixa Public Schools, Nixa Fire District, Christian County, Nixa Chamber of Commerce, and the State of Missouri.
The dinner will include a video update from each of the entities which will then be followed by a Q&A session.
Registration closes on Thursday, Oct. 26.

Don’t Miss This Opportunity to See The NRA’s Jim Supica!
Jim Supica is the Director of NRA Museums, which include the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia, and the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri, along with the Frank Brownell Museum of the Southwest at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM. The Museums have a combined annual visitation of 350,000 with an inventory of over 10,000 firearms. He oversees NRA Museum's media, including the NRAmuseums.com website. Mr. Supica has co-authored seven books and written numerous articles on firearms history and gun collecting, that included regular columns for American Rifleman and Shotgun News. On television, he has co-hosted six seasons of NRA Gun Gurus and NRA Guns & Gold and regularly appears on other national firearms-related shows.
Jim will talk about the broad scope of programs sponsored by the NRA with a special emphasis on the NRA Museums. He will share a display of some especially unusual and historic firearms from the NRA Museums.

| Come experience the joy and wonder of the true meaning of Christmas. North Nixa Baptist church will be presenting its 4th annual Drive Thru-Nativity. Guests will visit the bustling marketplace of Bethlehem, see live animals, encounter a very busy Inn, hear an angel choir and of course see Baby Jesus in a manger. There is no charge and this is open to the public. The Drive - Thru Nativity runs from November 30 - December 2 from 6 to 9 pm nightly.
